| Galaxy Theatre's Starlight Film Festival |

At midnight, Friday April 16th 300 students are expected at the Owen Sound Galaxy Cinemas for our all night movie event! The Starlight Film Festival, a fundraiser for the United Way of Bruce Grey. Funds from the evening go to support The United Way Rotary Childrens Fund.
The Starlight Film Festival runs from midnight to 7:30 am. For a cost of $20.00 students from the age of 14 to 18 will see 4 movies, enjoy free pop and popcorn and access to the video games at the Galaxy Centre. We have paid duty Grey County OPP on site along with St. Johns Ambulance.
Tickets are still $20 each and will be available to be purchased at the United Way office and students can check with their high school office to see if they have tickets or for ticket availability or call the United Way at 376 1560.
We are hoping to run two buses from various regions in Bruce and Grey counties but we need to know how many students want bus transportation.
Also it takes about 30 volunteers over the night to supervise and support the students. If you would like to volunteer for this event please the United Way at 376 1560. |

Announcing the 7th Annual Rotary Winterama on Saturday February 7, 2009
Five Rotary Clubs of District 6330, comprising clubs from Wiarton, Port Elgin, Hepworth/Shallow Lake, Tara and Southampton will host an exciting fund-raising event. There will be opportunities to snowmobile, skate, cross-country ski and snowshoe.
Details and registration will be released in November of 2008.
