Agencies are required to apply for funding, provide audited financial statements and meet, as a group, once or twice a year, to ensure your donor dollars are doing exactly what they should be doing.
To apply for funding from the United Way please download and review the Allocations Policy. Applications are due by 4pm April 17th 2009. |

To be eligible for funding by United Way of Bruce Grey an agency must:
1. Be a registered charitable organization under the Canada Income Tax act.
2. Provide programs and services, which are of a social, health, community or related nature.
3. Meet a vital community need.
4. Be able to demonstrate that it is not a duplication of programs or services by any other organization.
5. Be governed by a volunteer board of directors, which is representative of the community it serves and which is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the agency's programs and budget.
6. By supportive of United Way, and its operating policies and campaign efforts.
7. Provide to United Way audited financial statements on an annual basis. |
